HELP!!! Clutch Fork Won't Spring Back to Positio
Just about to put everything back together from putting a new clutch. Replaced the clutch, throw out bearing and flywheel. I stepped on the clutch and the foot clutch would not come to its place so I tried using my hand to see if I was able to push the clutch fork from position a to b and it did not want to spring back. Does anyone have any clue on why the clutch fork does not want to move back in position, By the way there is no transmission fluid or transfer case fluid in the car... So someone please HELP!!

Sounds like an issue with the TOB/Clip, can you look through the inspection hole to see if it is misaligned?

It looks like its suppose to the only thing i'm possibly thinking is when i put the two springs back on the clutch fork, when taking the TOB I did not but the 2 washer bushing type thing that I did not put back that would allow some movement on those 2 springs but I am trying to get some feedback from all you guys because I really don't want to take the tranny out again and come to find out I did'nt have to... Please give me more feedback- cssaddictm4 thanks for your feedback that is what I was orginally thinking of
