gas smell when rev'd around 5k
like the title says i get an odd gas smell in the cab when i rev up to about 5k-6k. maybe its just a bad tune? i cant quite figure it out... any thoughts?

I've been getting the same thing right after my service and I brought it in to my school, I go for automotives, my instructor said that it might be a bag that was snagged underneither and is being burned by the exhaust -__- long behold when we lifted it there was some burnt stuff on the piping. We scrapped that off and on the drive home it still smelled so im taking it back in today to further investigate. Let me kno if u find the problem
Edit: tho in my case it smells more like oil over gas... maybe a mixture. |

what kind of service did you have? After my 60k service a little oil spilled and my wrapped DP soaked it up and took a few days to burn off. I would smell it at idle after driving a while.
