how to remove CEL..

HOW TO DELETE the CEL without using a OBD2 thanks{thumbup} |
Fix source of light and or pull battery terminal in a pinch lol
|
Take the bulb out the dash. Fix the problem and then clear it by disconnect the battery or the fuse for the ecu
|
disconnect the battery, the car will likely have to go through a few engine cycles and diagnosis before it will come back on again. If you know the issue causing the light then simply fix it
If your trying to get the car to pass inspection then pulling the light in the dash wont get it done, lol ive tried that |

no matter how you slice it you aren't deleting it without the obd-II port Advance Auto and AutoZone can help you out with this for FREE. As stated before, the best way to get rid of it is to fix the cause of it being on... {thumbup} |

Right. Plus, if all you are trying to do is clear an engine/CEL code, it is SO easy. Much easier than pulling the bulb or disconnecting the battery for a while.
