Doe anyone have how to's on replacing rod bearings

I need step by step instructions on how too replace rod bearsings.

Not precisely but it's pretty straight forward...

1. Remove downpipe
2. Remove oil pan

You now have access to the rods to unbolt them and replace the bearings. Question is why do you want to just replace the bearings? Did you spin one? Rod bearings generally don't need to be replaced unless you spin them. The factory ones hold up fine until a rod breaks.

You'll also need to buy the correct thickness of bearing for each rod, as they aren't all exactly the same size due to wear and machining differences. As the post above says:

1. Remove oil pan
2. Remove bearing caps
3. Pull out the old bearings

At this point, run your fingernail across the surface on the crank and the rod on which the bearing sits. If you feel irregularities or you nail catches anything, bring the crank and rods to a shop. Do the same if you see discoloration on either the old bearings or the contact surface of the rods or crank. If everything is perfectly smooth, continue.

4. Measure the clearance so that you select the right bearing thickness
5. Installation is the reverse of removal. Apply motor oil to the side of the bearing that is in contact with the crank. Also apply motor oil to the surface of the crank.

If anything about this seems difficult, take it to a shop.
