Its official.... she's gone
I just wanted to say a BIG thank you to EvoM and all of its members. I traded in my Evo 8 today. It was definately a love/hate relationship and priorities got the best of me. I can't own a mitsu without modding and racing it. (this was my 4th mitsu and 2nd evo) I'm officially out of the mod game and now driving 2011 370z. I know I know, it is a tuner car, but I didn't buy it because of that. I bought it to be a stock daily driver. I plan on getting married and buying a house later this year so my mod budget is offically at $0.00.
Again, I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. It would not have been the same had EvoM not existed. Best of luck to all of you! :usflag::beer: |
Congrats on the new car, T. What color did you end up going with? I'm sure we'll have you doing a little something to it here and there ;) Glad I could help in your decision.

-Chris Thanks, Chris! I ended up getting silver. I'm happy. {thumbup} Speaking with you definitely helped. Thanks again. |
Bahh !
you should stay |
370z is a nice car but if i were to make a move towards RWD coupe from a similar pricing standpoint I would have gone with the Ford Boss 302. I've driven the laguna seca version and it has pretty fast steering with brembo and recaros also. And of course 444hp is fun.

While any variant of the new Ford Mustang seems to be a good car, I just don't see myself in one. A close buddy of mine bought a 2011 GT and I've driven it many times. Despite its glamour in performance, I still don't see myself ever owning one. (same goes for camaro and challenger) The only American coupe I'd ever get is a Z06 or ZR1, but alas, they are nowhere near my price range. |
Really, not a bad choice man, congrats.... sometimes its better not to mod... but its so damn fun to go fast :P

Um, your planning to get married so you traded in a 4 Door all wheel drive family sedan for a 2 door rear wheel drive luxury sports car?

You'll be back. As much as opinions are like *******s, the evo 8/9 is far from a family sedan. A stock evo X, maybe, but def not an Evo 8/9. They are for sure race cars, more so than a 370z. And, I will never buy a beater to let my 30~40k car sit home in pieces. Unfortunately, its not a perfect world and only 1 car at a time for me. |

Good move man. Thanks again for the parts! I'm getting married this July, but I just had to buy your parts. haha
Oh and +1 to that kids thing man. I don't see myself having kids for at least 3+ more years. |
Well at least you wont mod the 370z since prices for that are crazy.

:mitsu:I think the 370Z it's an awesome car in it's own right,enjoy it!{thumbup}
