hey guys i just got a EVO 8 from Huntington Beach Mitsubishi...good deal so far....anyways...i've been racing for 10 years in a 944 turbo all over california and my home track is Willow Springs big track....i've sold my 944 turbo(2100lbs 350hp) and i'm gonna run an EVO in the Opentrackchallenge....check it out at www.opentrackchallenge.com ....and www.pulpracing.com for stories about our racing......i want to win my class in the OTC...so i'm getting information about mods that i will need....any help from anyone would be good....thanks..wayne..www.pulpracing.com

You won't be co-driving with Dough this year? or you guys gonna be driving your EVO? ;)

Anyway, which class are you gonna be running this year?

thats awesome bro, i would just check out all the great packages our venders have, also check out the evo vender forums you might be able to snag some good deals!!!!!

I'm running in the Touring class and i'll be driving from track to track......Rick White is my codriver....but the we're all part of the Pulp Racing Team....Eric Messley and Doug will be driving his NSX.......any suggestions on the Evo will be apreciated....i'm gonna be doing basic stuff...exhaust intake..boost controller....i'll need to get a harnesses and stuff like that...i just got the car a few days ago and its all stock....any help would be great...thanks

does your class require a roll cage? I have a full fabricaton shop in orange county. if you require any chassis prep or any other sort of specific fabrication let us know, maybe we can be of service.

no it doesn't...but how much would you charge to put a roll cage in an EVO..and what is it you do for the chassis?..my goal is to keep the car streetable

Now tell Doug to get a EVO as well man, Sold my NSX to get a evo and having the HP with the TQ is great man. Getting about 350WHP and same TQ.

Would you be allow to mod ECU? If you do, you might want to take a look at Vishnu/Shiv. His stage 1 kit looks to be just what you need.

I'm not sure if you can fit a 5/6 pts harness in the car w/out a hanress bar or cage. "wtz" got a Schroth 4 pts harness in his car w/out the harness bar.

I've got a set of Sabelt 5 pts harnees sitting in my garage from my old s2k. I'm gonna see if i can get them in sometime next week.
