I'm the oldest newbie. What's the popular mods.

I think i'm getting back to a evo 9 MR. What are the popular tuners and optionsof today for these cars? The last I recall it was either Vishnu or AMS back in 2006. What is the best tuner choice today for basically stock or stock plus exhaust for everyday use thru cold winters and etc.

Still AMS IMO

best tuner choice?

Stock my man... check out Ecuflash :) https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ecuflash-179/
For a piggy back (I think) unit, check out Cobb tuning.

AMS,Buschur,ETS,STM,MAP for parts, and for tuning stick with stock ecu and find a good tuner around you. if you cant find any then i highly recommend tscompusa for a remote tune.

I'm about 2hrs away from Buscher racing. I went there back in 2003 for cam install. It's been so long since i've driven an evo and if I cannot stand the turbo lag I guess my best but is to give Mr. Buscher a visit:).

No I have a GTR now and deciding to use a evo 9 as a daily driver. Was considering evo x, gti, focus st and etc but unless my memories is incorrect none feels as raw and sharp as an evo 8/9.

Thanks all. Checked out the car yesterday and I've decided not to mod it since it was never modded. . It's first clutch was service at 50+k with OEM parts all service records from the dealer. This is such a rare thing and may help resale later. When I get it I'll post some pics:)
