anything you don't like about your evo?
 

I am most definitely going to be purchasing a "Tarmac Black" evo within the next two months or so, and what I ask of all of my evolution enthusiasts is to tell me what you DO NOT like about your car. If given the chance to do it all over again, would you purchase the evo VIII again? This thread is not intended to bash :mitsu: , just want to see what kinds of things are nuisances or going wrong with these cars before I purchase one.

So if you would, please list 3 things you love about the car, and 3 things you do not like at all about the car (if possible), then whether or not you'd buy it again if given the chance.

1) Its get up and go
2) Its looks

I love everything about my car except for the clutch. I wish it had a bit more feel to it, other than that I don't have much to complain about. {thumbup}

I love everything but the rattles, but I knew there was going to be some rattles and minimal sound deadening.

Ii I had it to do again I would definately buy another EVO, hands down, no question. Pluses far outweight the Minuses!!! {thumbup}

I love all EVO's in all colors, but tarmac the best because black is sexi :) The only thing I don't like about the EVO is the damn tails! But I plan on painting them or ordering JDM very soon ;) Good luck with your purchase. TARMAC! {thumbup}

only thing i dont like bout the car is that it bring toooooo much attention.
constantly getting revved up by ricer.
other than that, its perfect.

Dislikes:
1. "B" pillar is too far forward. I'm 6'4", and used to the "Italian driving position" (elbows? what elbows?) By the time I get the seat back far enough, the shoulder harness isn't snug to the shoulder. (I'm used to 2D coupes where the anchor is further aft.)

2. No cargo net in trunk. Anything not nailed down will go walkabout when you drive.

3. I'm not thrilled with the clutch "feel". That damper was a dumb "enhancement".

Would I buy it again? Absotainly. :p

And I like the tarmac black.

Ditto on the black, if I could do it again I would get the car in Tarmac.

Love: everything about it.

Hate: I agree with too much attention. I get messed with every time I drive it. It's a ******* driver magnet, especially Bimmer drivers (f'ing a-holes, all of you). Just let me drive my car in peace. And lately, those big SUV's with ghetto 20+ inch spinners. They drive like they own the road and handle like sports cars.

I will not buy another Mitsu product again. My EVO will be around for awhile and I plan to enjoy it, but I am done with Mitsu.
