Key fobs and key's

need a little help but have had little to no luck.

I bought my Ix Mr a little over three weeks ago. It was a bank repo and so obviously The did not get the keys. I have just a copied key.

So I need fobs and a few keys. just want to know the best options. im not a big fan of ebay either.

Dealership. The keys have to be programed with the care if I remember right. There is an immobilizer built into the ignition.

Yep, dealership is probably your only option then. Be ready to pony up some cash.

i have one just wanted to get a few more keys and fobs. sucks! I hate dealership prices.

ITs 59.00 for a key, 109.00 for a program. Thats the prices here at the stealership. Cant EcuFlash the immoblizer to a new key sadly :(
The Fobs on the other hand can be bought aftermarket and programmed XD

I wonder if thats the same price if the only key you have is a copy key.
They would have to grab the information from the car itself.
My dealership told me I would need to bring in the original key to copy the information off of it.
For some reason, even though the copy key can store the information, they cant grab the information from it to make a new copy.
I only have one original key and when I was told that, I keep the original key locked up in my room somewhere.

Fobs can be had for like $50 and programmed yourself to save you some cash at least but the key is gonna be a dealership thing

any recommendations for places for aftermarket keyfobs?

I bought my blank key off of ebay for cheap but the programming part is a PITA since a dealership is needed but the keyless entry is cheap on ebay also and easy to program yourself.
