What's the Fastest LR 2.4 Evo?
 

A recent thread on LR 2.0 vs LR 2.4 has me curious. I have no idea which direction I want to take my build. I would love to run into the 9s for sure with a 6466 the turbo those are two things I'm 100% sure of. I don't want to just run a 9.99 and be happy mid 9s is my goal and with a LR 2.4 and even a better final drive I'm unsure if there's enough revs/gearing on the 2.4 to get there. Any help shed any light on this??? Jason aka AngryAero owner has been helping me A LOT and said he only revs his LR 2.0 to 9k (thought you could rev it higher and also rev the LR 2.4 to 9k) and is running a 9.4 @150 not even on full tilt on his 6466 so low 9s on his setup is a given.

What's the quickest/fastest LR 2.4 car to date?

Thanks a lot guys I'm going crazy trying to decide between the two. I would LOVE the torque and street feel of a 2.4 but also wanna rip up the strip and show all the LSX nut huggers around me what a small motor can do

Well the AMS drag Evo ran an 8.42 on a 2.1 (4G64) but again they were revving to the moon so not sure how the LR 2.4 compares. Seems people are saying you car rev the LR 2.4 to 9000 so I don't see how ya'd run outta gear but I don't see tons of fast drag videos/times on these bigger displacement blocks

No one know? Seen Wheatley ran a 9.8 on the fastest evo list with a LR 2.4 and 6266 curious if there's a bigger turbo guy shooting for mid low 9s

Wheatley just runs a 6262. He doesn't rev his much past 8500 I believe, but hes also on 4.11 Final drive.
