IS SSL package encoded in VIN
My car was stolen about a week ago and I am gathering info for the insurance adjuster. He asked about specific options that the car had that would help in the valuation process. I was wondering when he pulls the VIN, will the SSL package be decoded?
I used the EVOM VIN Decoder and I saw no mention of leather, sunroof or premium sound. anyone have any knowledge/ experience with this? Thanks! |
It's in the serial number. A generic VIN tool will not determine it, you need a Mitsubishi serial number database to do so.
Most decent insurance companies have this, if not you can present your VIN to a dealer for a copy of the Monroney on it. I can make one too if you need it. |
