New HID's?
 

So my ballasts and Bulbs went bad a few months ago and im finally getting around to replacing them. I dont know which ballasts kit to get for it. I dont know anything about them but want good ones that wont **** the bed in 2 years. I plan on putting 8K bulbs in them so im assuming i should go with the 55W?

1. 8k bulbs are a waste. Anything over 5k will have worse light output at night. Plus 8k looks dumb

lol im also ordering a set of 8K bulbs incase i dont like the 20k...could look pretty good with thqat dark of blue

Both of these ideas are terrible.

4.3k = best

I dont see why its a terrible idea being different from every other evo with 6-8k lights.

Because when you add rain and night into the mix good luck having any visibility when driving. I get more compliments on my 4.3 K Lights then when i had the 8K plus I see everything in front of me.

anything above 5k, visibility drops down. 20k you might as well just use a single AA flashlight for visibility as it'll be better. Even 6k has noticeably less light output than 5k, 8k is going to be terrible either way.

There's a reason that BMW/Mercedes/Lexus/etc use 4100k-4300k bulbs with their HID setups, and it's not for looks.
