Car will start sometimes but usually doesn't.
 

About a month ago i couldn't get my 8 to start. At first it would not turn over at all it would click and whirr but wouldn't turn.
Eventually I got it to turn but it turned very slowly and eventually started. It ended up pulling a P0335 code. But I cleared it and waited to see if it happened again.

Well last week it would not start at work. It would not turn over at all. Same whirr and click but no turning.
I came back two days later to tow it home and decided to try before calling triple a.
She started right up. And threw the P0335 code again.

Now she's sitting parked. And idk what to do. I could replace the crank sensor but it's generally a bigger job than I'm capable of right now. And I don't have the $500 to get it fixed. If that is even the issue.

So I'm hoping someone with a similar issue will know what to do.
If the sensor is bad then why does it sometimes run no problem? If electrical what specifically do I check and how?
Don't really have the funds right now to just be replacing parts on a whim.
