Boost doesn't come on

I have a quick question so when I was driving today on ramp to merge on highway I was reaching 60 ish and boost wouldn't turn on it sounded like a leak somewhere but I can't figure it out. I'm guessing it's the diverter valve since one hose port seem to be gone but I don't know much. I have a synape dv on the bottom side there's wire and on top there's one. It seems like there's 2 and one hose pop off. Anyone has a synape dv that can show me how and where it's connected too? Thanks. Much appreciated.

Sounds like a classic boost leak. You seem to have found the issue, being your diverter valve, could you post a picture or explain in different words whats missing/disconnected. They're very simple to setup, just not really clear on what your issue is.

After further inspection, i found it's not the diverter valve, it's in upper intercooler pipe i think. I saw a lose clamp. Do you happen to know if there is a stronger better clamp for the upper pipe so it doesn't come loose as often? I've own the car for 2 years and it came loose once the first month i own the car and now today it came loose again. These stock one don't seem to be too tight in clamping the pipe together. I'm not sure how to clamp it back together, I usually bring it to my tuner shop and they fix it but if it keeps happening, i would like to know how to clamp it back on myself. Thanks.

I use all Hose Techniques T-clamps & silicone hose couplings on my IC pipes

They are very generic & some clamps are better than others. So shop around.

Another trick you could use, I did this back in my DSM days, was that I would put a small bead on the ic hosing (JB weld works) so the clamp had something to grip onto other than just the hose.

I looked further into it and it doesn't seem to be the clamps because i clamped it back on and as soon as i push the car a bit harder it comes off again. I think the hose are all worn out and i need to get those replaced.

Good time to upgrade your IC piping.

If it's something you want to upgrade then it's a perfect opportunity. I kind of doubt your hosing is "worn out". If you want the car driveable for now you can either stay out of boost or try and tightening them to a point where you cant budge it with your hand.

Yep, i was going to just upgrade my intercooler, turbo and lower pipe, guess this gives me a reason to do the upper pipe as well haha. Thanks everyone for helping me figure this one and for all the suggestions!

Enjoy the upgraded pipes. Makes it look nice under the hood and better flow champion.
