RPM won't drop down when I shift at high rpm
I'm noticing when I shift at 3500rpm or higher, when I disengage clutch the rpm won't drop down as quickly as I disengage clutch, (it's like if I shift at 4000rpm and then I press clutch all the way in and begin to shift and the rpm will just stay at 4000rpm for one or two second) it feels like I'm accelerating and shifting at the same time. If I drive normal shift at 3000rpm it drop down immediately when I disengage the clutch. anyone knows if this is normal? I only have basic bolts on mods on the car.

Evo 8 or 9? My 9 was doing this after I had my car tuned. There's a thread on here about rev hang and how to eliminate it through tuning.

it's a evo 9, I just had a dyno reflash done few days ago and it's still doing that.

Have your tuner do specifically what is suggested in the thread I linked. My car didn't start doing it until I got tuned. So I had it retuned and had my tuner follow that thread. Problem solved.
