Hello,

Long story short I am repairing an Evo eight I purchased . Problem is the body guy I was using hasn’t touched it since October . All my research showed me to purchase this specific part number for the radiator support.

He told me it was the incorrect part number but still welded it on and hacked the **** out of it. That is a completely different subject but I’m trying to get some confirmation if I’m using the right part here .

5215A103 part number
car is a 2004 evo 8

It's correct. 03-04 is MN150616 and 05-06 was changed to 5215A103.... But the 03-04 superceded to the 5215A103.

Problem is likely with the guys skill... Or frame preparation, might not have been ready to weld on yet.https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.evo...6851a61624.jpg

Also, just looking at your picture #2, if that's the "after", it looks like the frame rail is pushed on the passenger side. Look at the angle of the lower core support and compare it to the angle of the compressor.
I'm betting someone is working outside their skill level :(

Yes this is after, had a feeling this was the case since everything I found said this is the correct part. Thank you so much for confirming everything. I haven't really been able to look at the vehicle since its been sitting at this shop.
