General SSL package information thread. Build #s, how rare? Last sold vin+price!
Wutup guys, not sure if there is still alot of us out here. But I wanted to know if we could start a database of SSL Evo 8-9.
One big thing I wonder about is, was this package available anywhere else? Or was this a California built evo package like the hardtop convertible 3000gt. Another thing is does anyone have build count, how many built/sold? Any 0 mile ones left? Lowest mile ones out there? How many SSL evo 1-9 out there with matching vin numbers on motor & transmission, including all body panels. Let's build an ssl database <- database link |

I have an 06 SSL Apex Silver believe 3rd owner 67k on the dash.

04 SSL rare due to super low production numbers in general for that model year (MY). 05 SSL not very rare. 06 SSL rarer than 05 no doubt. But 06 saw the switch to the black suede Recaros in the other Evo models, and the old blue Recaro Evo 8 seats were probably a large reason why the 05 MY had a lot of SSL's ordered. Most buyers prefer no sunroof on these cars as it is, and with the new black suede Recaros, it makes sense that SSL production numbers decreased for the 06 MY. All that said, no exact production numbers available to date that I am aware of.

Hello guys, I have a 06 SSL, imported from USA to my country. Didn't know that they are that rare. Mine has all the goodies in good working condition. I also have the original stereo, but I switched for a newer unit (it was a pain to figure out the wiring for the amp).
