Help taking apart the headlight!!!!

So im in the process of blacking out my heads but how do you remove that square connector/thingy thats sitting on top of the projector housing? I can't seem to get that off!!! HELP PLEASE?!?!?!

it's it what i think it is, it comes apart similar to the harness for normal headlights
