Boost gauge install

Well I just got my Apexi boost gauge, now I am confuse on where to install it. I seen many people install on the little hose that goes to the manifold. I have also seen people install it in the Fuel Pressure Regulator. Which one gives you the mosy accuarte reading or is the safest to run it in? Thanks

If you tie in at the fuel pressure regulator make sure you do it before the solonoid.

Sorry if this is a threadjack but what about vac hose? I'm planning on installing my gauge very soon but cannot for the life of me find a place that has vac hose that is cut to length. Every shop I check out only has it in 6ft lengths. Have you guys had trouble finding hose long enough for the run from the FPR to the driver's side of the car?

You find the service manual and install it like the oem that comes on the MR.

was wondering what the size is on the vaccume line. i have a stock gauge cluster from a wrecked mr. but the boost line was cut. i was planning on going from the bov line. what size line and is a reducer needed to attatch to the gauge, as it looks like the nipple on the gauge is smaller than the line size.

to stick with the original post, the bov line is what ive been told is an accurate reading, so thats where im going.
