Shifter Bushing Install Help

Shifter Bushing Install Help

I recently aquired these bushings

And I just removed my battery and installed the smaller one, but the directions dont have any information on installing the larger one..Could somebody give me some info here? Also Im not supposed to use the stock washer correct?

Try to use these instructions they all follow the same principle, and no I don't think you have to reuse the stock washer.

hmm I think IX's might be different cuz my pin on the large stock bushing is totally different, and its also nearly impossible to get to, let alone get any leverage to push the bushing out

I just need help with that big bushing cuz for some reason they thought not to include instructions for it

Use the pin to push the bushing out, that is how I did it on mine!!!

Hmm..Are there any pics of it online? I want to put my big bushing in badly, just I want to be positive Ill be able to do it before I go taking out my battery/tray and all again.

I just did this installation last night. The bushing will come out pretty easily if you push it with a screwdriver on the very edge of the bushing. DO NOT DROP THE RETAINER CLIP! Took me like 10 minutes to fish it out somewhere on top of the control arm.
