Boost guage question

Installed it today, everything went smooth. But i would like to know ir something is wrong with teh guage or not. My vac is 15 at idle and im only boosting 10 psi right now. No kinks in the lines and the car feels slow. Just wondering if this is around hte right vac, because other evos are at like 20 ish at idle, dunno just wondering.

Thanks guys, 4wstuning is going to tune the car, but its ***** slow right now, any ideas? And the clutch needs an adjustment bad, car runs like crud between shifts, its very rough and whe ni punch it and shift , the diff sounds like its gunng jump out of the car

well.. do you have a boost controller? the tune shoudn't effect the PSI i think. it's either boost leak or if u have boost controller, crank it up a little.

When your boosting the needle should be above the 0 Positive pressure.
When your just idling it'll be pulling vacuum in inches hg or whatever the scale is.

Your vacuum can change from vacuum/boost leaks and different cams change your vacuum too. Do you have upgraded cams?

Take care of your 9, man. Get it fixed by someone who knows what they are doing. You want it running right first, then get it tuned right. After that you will know if anything is wrong the next time.

Check all your hoses from the intercooler to the throttle body and the intercooler to the turbo outlet. Also check your diverter valve hoses and intake tube. Make sure all the clamps are tight.

I will thanks. And no car is stock. Well 4wstuning (Tamer) logged the car and was seeing 14 psi last week. So I dunno what to think until I go back and we figure something out.
