Modifying the rear crash beam is a must! Please go the extra step and modify the support, ive heard of insurance denying coverage if involved in an accident, and it actually helps quite a bit. There is a write up on the socal forum on how to modify it

i have not had that beams in 1 year + so its not a must to be honest watch how you drive and dont get crazy on the road and you can avoid most accidents i have never been in one and i own lots of cars. now somebody has backed into my parked spyder and no beam and did rear damage insurance coverd it fully i dont buy it sorry man......

How has no one like Carbign Craft, APR etc made this on the outside of the bumper behind the plate? It would be nothing more than a flat piece of CF with curved edges and wide to cover the holes.
Considering how many in the US bought the JDM rear with US plates, this would sell.
