How to install EBAY poly lip(with pics)
Actually I have yet to install it since I am being sent a replacement. However, the LIP definitely looks like it will at the very least fit with the stock undertray as it has holes and extra material from underneath that allows it to be hooked into the underbody/tray.
Heheh it is funny how we all have different likes and dislikes. Actually I got it because of the agressive look! My brother has a 2007 STI and stock they came with a more agressive lip similar to what I purchased.

Is this lip lower than the stocker after mounting? If so, I assume the mounting tabs for the undertray are above the lower edge of the ebay lip.
This is the second lip I have bought from BaysonR. The first was a V-LTD copy for my STI which was perfect...fitment, quality...blah, blah.I just got this and it's is covered in dimples and bumps from the molding process I guess.
I tried to sand it down as well as I could before painting it with Duplicolor Trim Paint (works great on poly lips by the way)
But it looks like total ****. Because it's flat black, you can see every ****ing imperfection.
I contacted BaysonR when I first unwrapped it and he said that basically some are better than others and it's luck of the draw with quality and finish.
Bull****. I realize it's only $80 or whatever but....
He said I could pay the shipping to send it back and they would try to find a better condition lip.
It's like $50 to ship and it's not refundable. Whatever...EBAY..FAIL
I've gotten lucky with Ebay **** in the past and I guess it was my time to totally waste some money on a junk part.
Just my 2 cents.
Hey guys, I just installed this. Fitmit was okay in regards to the mounting points on the front bumper. It took a little work but not a ton. The finish is not great but I polished it which helped and its okay but could def use some paint. I have a couple of questions...
Has anyone come up with a good way to use the stock undertray? Mine did not line up at all but I would really like to use it.
Also, What are you guys doing at the wheel well to keep it flush? Mine wants to flare out which looks like crap. Did you drill a hole and use the wheel well liner to tuck it in?
Thanks.

I agree with you here. I went to the Home Depot and bought some self tapping screws that worked much better.
just did mine today. Fits good for 89.99 shipped and with my evo in PA lowered why spend $400 on a CF lip just to destroy it. I scrape just getting in and out of my driveway. Overall I'd say def get it and it even looks fine unpainted
I have had this lip for about a year now, and it is still going strong with no issues. Like lude said, we are both in Texas so the heat did make the bottom part a little wavy, but when its on the car, you cant see it one bit. I also used the hardware provided since it was good. For the price, you cant beat it. I like the carbon one better, but if your low and your roads are screwed up, then this is the route to go.
