You drill into your current trim piece. THis is meant as a cover, not a replacement.

Well it said that you could replace the pillar in some cars and I was wondering if anyone has done that, or if anyone could post pictures of theirs installed.

no if it is the lancershop peice u can not replace it, it goes over the stock peice, and when u put it over at first u think it wont fit but push at the bottom a lil harder and it will with a lil force

The one I have (from fireball) is a replacement. I ziptied it to the wires running up the pillar and around the corner of the headliner. It moves a little if you push on it but sits fine when left alone. There should be pictures in my sig

The Lancershop.com A-pillar pods are full replacements as listed on the website, I also use mine as a replacement . Look in the show in shine for pics.

I got the one from lancershop too. I would definitely not use it as a replacement. But it will work real well if you use it to cover the stock piece. I painted the pillars black to match the dashboard... it looks real nice. I'll have pics up once I finish install

I too have been running the one from Lancershop for a few months now. I just replaced the stock pillar. I was able to get a screw into the headliner in the very top corner. The door trim overlaps & helps to keep it firmly planted too.

I used some Krazy glue on the inner part of the rubber to hold up the pods. Works perfect and you don't see any glue, screws, etc
