I also bought all the brackets on russells page as he requested me to. Ended up using the original retainer which has the small arms for the usdm license plate and bolted the jdm license bracket to it. I did not know about the different lights with the jdm bracket so i ended up ordering new usdm lights which did not fit properly in the bracket but was able to bolt it only on one side, enough to hold it on.

I will as soon as I get to that step I was hoping to tackle it last night but now I have to deal with the exhaust just to get the damn bumper on. Lol

Alight guys. Got everything installed finally. After dicking with the exhaust for a day and a half it fits. Got the bumper installed with the light bracket and correct lights. They fit great as oem should. The plate bracket was another story. The crash beam sits closer to the bumper then the oem bracketing on the jdm cars do. The tabs sticking off the back have to be bent flat and then kinda rolled to bolt it up to the crash beam and have the plate sit correctly. I just eye balled it where I wanted the plate to sit. Then made all my measurement to center it. Drilled and tapped the holes in the crash beam and bolted it up. The usdm license plate holes don't line up with the mounts in the bracket as mentioned so I measured and drilled the plate.

Can you post the threading for the tap/die?

I just used a 6mmx1.00. Can't remember what drill bit I used though.

I bent it up then bent it down and then out some nut inserts in.

Any one figure this out? I just got my JDM bumper installed and my guy had no idea how it mounted. I have the STM rear bar so my plate bolts up, but STM said I needed this too. Pics don't work anymore so just asking...
