I'm wondering if anyone else out there experienced the same problem and know the work around it. I installed a HKS BOV and noticed that the idle goes down to only 500 RPM when I push it back into neutral after 1st gear. I just installed an AEM intake and now the car keeps on stalling everytime I put it into neutral after 1st or 2nd gear. I know if I hook back up the re-circulation kit, this would not happen, but then, that would defeat the purpose of installing a BOV.

Can anyone help? Has anyone experienced it?

 

yes everyone has experienced it and if you do a search you will notice VTA with the hks set up as a bov will cause that problem and its pretty unavoidable. What you have to do is either let the rpms slow down to 2k or sell before putting it into neutral or use it as a recirculater. I have the aem and hks as well and I have it vta and notcie the rpms will hit about 400 sometimes.
