really? went by feel? i dunno if i want to risk my life by torquing harness bolts by feel. Im guessing the torque spec for the stock seatbelt bolts would work. i guess i just like having the peace of mind when it comes to torque specs on critical parts such as seat belts or brakes, suspension, etc.

Risk your life? You tighten a bolt - how difficult can it be? If you're worried, put some Loctite on the threads when you put it back together. If you're that worried about it, then skip the harness install. The stock seat belts are ultimately safer than the harness in a crash, and I would not recommend them for street driving.

if you can't guesstimate a torque for something like that, you honestly should not be working on a car.

Thats my honest opinion. Most of it is common sense. if you broke it loose with x amount of force, that same amount would hold it back when refastened.

I ike to torque things as much as possible but on this installation I just payed close attention to how much torque I "felt" breaking the OEM bolt loose, and applied at least as much tightening it back down.
