someone should make this for evo's
 

on the new 2006 sti's there is 2 spoilers trunk and window. well i would like the same thing for my evo.

it looks carbon fiber with the ends painted to match color of car. that is nice and all but how about insert the radio antenna. if you install this rear window spoiler with antenna we can get ride of our vortex generator and antenna making the car smoother. if anyone has info or is able to build something like this please pm me please

it isn't about helping it. it is that most evo drivers hate our antenna and this would be a great way to get ride of it. btw most spoilers on all cars don't work. i could care less if the spoiler helped or not. i want something that hides the antenna and better yet instead of installing vortex gen's to kinda hide the antenna or a after market stub of a antenna this would be a great after market add on.

wow you hate that antenna that much and it bugs you that much to where you would probably pay 500 bucks more for something that helps that "hides the antenna"

yes, yes i would and infact i would pay up to 700 most likely. i bought a evo not a lancer es. you pay to play or you sit on the side lines.

Evo already has it, that upper window spoiler is the STI's version of the vortex generator.

congratulations we have a winner {thumbup} . if you read the post this would eliminate vortex gen' and stub antenna's. personally the vortex gen's and stub antennia looks cheap and ugly.

this should be made for evo's w/antenna's to eliminate vortex generator's and stock/stub antenna

this looks smoother and goes with the evo alot better than a wrx sti body styling

that is my point
i don't know if the wrx sti rear window wing has or doesn't have an antenna on it at this point but it would have been the smart thing to do.

As for the don't care if it works or not spoiler wise....if you were to ever drive your Evo like it was meant to be driven you would appreciate it.

Wow, it's Subaru's version of the Vortex Generator. Looks like crap if you ask me, i'd have it removed as my first mod if I bought an 06 STi, that and the front bumper.

yes i understand that. i was just replying. of course if it worked that would be even better.

lets not turn this into a flame on sti's that isn't the point. the point is it would give you the option for vortex generator and your stub antenna or this wing with antenna built in would give people more exterior mods and give people oh i don't know the ability to choose just a thought.

this is one dumb thread...why in the hell did u buy an Evo. I mean really ur complaining about the damn antenna, go buy a freaking STi if u want something like that...
