mine made the most awful noises when i pulled the sides off, i was scared to look but nothing broke, scared the hell out of my girlfriend though as she was helping hold it. my velcro didnt seperate either, the adhesive on one side gave up first.

re-assembling
Nice write up... and yes it should be a Sticky lol

My question now is... Once apart and the paint process has been completed.

What did you need to put everything back together?

What Glues did u use? and has anyone had an unsuccessful glue job?

The Re-Riveting part is self explanitory and most likely the pad/gasket in between the wing and trunk needs to be replaced. Mitsu has a newer design for that gasket (not like the one in the pics.. this one fills up the whole bottom..... if I remember correctly it was about 17 bucks.

What have you guys come up with?

im having ALOT of trouble taking the sides off.... i cant push/pull any harder and it still anit budging...
