Question Mounting Aem Uego sensor??

Hey I have a quick question. .
I'm currently installing my Aem Uego, but curious as to where to put the sensor.
I've read that it needs to be at least 24+inches from the turbo. Could I just put the sensor into my bung on my test pipe? Would it be accurate? Thanks!

they say to put it 2ft behind the turbo so it doesnt get fried up, you mount it further back so the exhaust is cooler. Also you need to install it before your cat so it gets an accurate reading, since you dont have a cat you can install it pretty much anywhere.

When I put my UEGO in, I'm going to put it in the catback. A friend has kind of the same setup, and he put his wideband sensor in the catback, and it works perfectly. Maybe you could do that too.

I think the end of the downpipe before the cat sounds reasonable.
