i have looked all over the place and i can't find a write-up on this...

can anybody walk me through this? i'm kinda stuck on the latch and i looked at the torsion bars and i'm kinda stumped on those too

ok so with a little bit of looking at it, i managed to get the latch and all the wiring out of the trunk and i've successfully removed the trunk lid off the car.

the only thing i need to do now is remove the torsion bars...i've given it a look over and i'm guessing the only way to remove them is the simply put some muscle behind it and pry the bars off? this seems kinda dangerous but is this how you have to do it or is there any other way?

thats what i did, used muscle to pry them sukers out. They wont fly out lol, just use safety glasses.
