How to make cheap coil on plug setup
Maybe we should specify which coils we're talking about. The ones from the Civic (S2000) 2.0L does not fit. I believe the ones from the 1.7L do fit.
Does not fit:
DENSO Part # 6732301
Believe to fit: (maybe Czarcasm can confirm the part number he used)
DENSO Part # 6732302
I went for the ones from the S2000 (2.0L Civic) because I figured they'd have decent performance.

2001-05 Honda Civic Ignition Coil (Set of 4) for L4 1.7L
You do NOT need to stretch out the springs in the coil. You do NOT need a plate. They fit perfect under the stock cover. I bolted them down to the valve cover bolts (as you can see) and they lined up just right. If anyone is interested, pm me and I can show you what I did
This is a budget COP setup, less than $100 if junkyard is reasonable.

So i might have just come across something great for every one 99 acura tl coils there shorter then the civic ones but longer then yaris coils i will let you all know how they work out installing in the morning.
sorry guys woke up late
. yes they fit great love them definately the most worthy mod yet.
I am now how ever getting miss fire at around 3/4 throttle and up but runs perfect at idle and below 3/4 throttle, any ideas?
I do have an x-power ignition booster which I kept in the works but as far as everything else ignition is stock.
