You will have to pull the weather strips up, starting from the boot.

then stick it on, the Antenna should hold it on also.

3m tape works awesome you just have to prep the surface properly before applying to the car.

If you clean the surface real well and put 3m on the VG then 3m along the parts that the VG it lie on , it wont come off at all

if my roof is sprayed with plasti dip, would it still hold?

No it won't you need a clean surface. Just clean a strip for it then recoat it.

You should always have a clean surface for a proper bond.

Nice find with that SIKAFLEX, Thanks. The Evo X version needs some help at the tips. The tape just isn't getting the job done at an Evo level

I got mine from rexpeed and the tape that us supplied is quite strong... Does it's job.

So I took the advice on using one of those 3m red heavy duty double sided tape, cheaper than the "auto" one but looks exactly the same, I had it on for a year but I notice one side is lifting up just a little. I took a hair dryer and did a few passes and firmly pressed. It's back to perfect! But I did use alot of tape... Basically all along both sides of the vortex. I saw some diy that uses just a little but better safe than sorry.

windscreen sealant is very strong obviously

however not so easy if you want to remove
