HID Conversion in a Non-HID IX using a VIII MR front harness?

For the millionth time.. I know.. I know..

So I've SERCHED AND SEARCHED AND SEARCHED.. I've got some information that I needed but not ALL that I've needed.

Here's the situation:

I've got the opportunity to buy a harness (I can buy the whole harness and fuse boxes, front/dash/chassis) for a good price off of a wrecked MR VIII.

I want to make this conversation as OE as possible.

Here's my concern:

Are the harnesses different? Will Mivec be an issue being it's a VIII harness? Or does the front harness not affect it? I'd like to use the leveling and fog light switch also?

All I've seen people doing from my hours of searching are cutting/splicing pigtails or de-pinning connections? I've yet to see a full harness conversion? I've also seen people wiring in their own relays but that's not the route I want to go.

Does the dash harness need to be utilized also to use the leveling and fog light switch?

I guess my question is: can it be done with a harness swap? I get it can be done with cutting/splicing but I'm too OCD for that. I'd rather not do it than go that route.
Any help would be appreciated! A link, a yes, a no.. Anything..

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give me.
