Starting Motor - 1st time in 2 years...

Hi guys

So my car has been on blocks for quite a while, well since March 24th 2012 - nearly 2 years to the day since it was last running...

Had been doing a number of things to it as well as other life priority's etc

Anyway the day has almost come where its ready to turn over so I can get it tuned etc. Just need to wire my air intake sensor for the Power FC D Jetro ECU

What should I do before hand to make sure there's no damage in the initial start up? i.e new oil/fluids, crank it over to get oil & fuel pressure up first etc? and idea it it will run ok i.e drive off boost until I can drive it to the tune shop (not that far away from me) and if the FC will even start up with 880cc injectors?

Cheers

Definitely fluid flush with all new fluids, new oil, replace filter, check air filter, make sure everything is secured tightly. I would not recommend getting on it at all until a tune is done. Just be cautious and not drive crazy till your tune is on and your engine is broken in.

Yep I know not to get on it until its tuned.

I'm more worried about stuffing the bearings etc. Its got all new fluids/filters put in it so that's not a prob as well as fresh gas.

Is there any chance the injectors/fuel pump/lines etc could be rusted or corroded? Ive heard of the this occurring. Its been in a dry shed and garage the whole time and the tank has been drained/empty the whole time.

Im going to crank it with the plugs out and fuel pump disconnected to get oil pressure up to make sure all the bearings are lubed up, then prob crank it again with the fuel line to the fuel rail to off to make sure no little bits make it to the injectors. Prob being a bit **** but don't want anything to go wrong.

What else should I look at?
