E-brake not keeping car in place.. How do I fix this?

Hi I was wondering what needs to be replaced in order to have my e-brake work properly. On my last car when my e-brake went out I just had to replace these springs but I can't figure out how to do it on my evo? Please help and thanks!

If this adjustment doesn't fix it, the internally expanding drum brakes on the rear might need replacing. This is not common unless you often forget and drive with the emergency brake on.

Have you tried adjusting the cable under the center console?

Adjustment is made on the rear drums, that's why they make the adjustment wheel back there.

well i took the console out and when i would pull the e-brake all the way up there was still a little slack in the cable so i adjusted the nut just barely and now the e-brake works fine so thanks for all the help!

For anyone else if adjusting doesn't help you'll need new shoes
