I'm tooooo confused..... heeelp!
I bought another Evo, but previous owner botched the headlights with ****ty ebay crap..... now i can't figure out if my 05 evo 8 has hid headlights or not.... because the dealer says it was hid, but i don't have 3 plugs, it only has 2 plugs on the harness? I need help please point me in the right direction :helpme::helpme: :mitsu: :confused:

Does the evo have fog lights? If not, you don't have HID's. They go hand-in-hand

My can has fog light button, headlights have the hole for fog lights, but the main harness has 2 plugs:confused:

05 gsr evos didn't have hid headlights. Looks like someone put hid headlights in yours and didn't do the harness swap that goes with the factory hid headlights. Probably were going to though at some point since the fog light button is there. I restored a wrecked 05 gsr and purchased hid headlights not knowing that the 05 gsr came with halogen headlights and no fogs. You can still make it work though as I did in my car.
