Recaro Seats Self Reclining (Help!)
 

My stock Recaro (driver) has started to recline by itself either while driving or leaving the car parked. It doesn't recline by a huge amount but enough for me to notice that my mirrors and steering are out of place. I have to adjust the recliner several times a day and it's starting to get annoying.

I read a couple of other threads on other forums that advise removing the reclining adjuster knob and replacing the rubber washers but my stock Recaros don't seem to have them. Are our Recaros supposed to have them?

I read another thread that requires drilling holes into the adjuster knob and using black ties which I'm not too keen on. I'd rather spend the time and effort to remove the seats from the car, open up the reclining mechanism and get to the root of the issue.

I anticipate a good "how to" here. Take some pictures or video.

Any update?
