Each High Performance Short Block is hand assembled by one of Cosworth’s skilled engine builders to exact specifications. Built from all new components, the Cosworth 4G63 2.0L engine is the perfect foundation for your high performance application.
Each short block features:
* Cosworth Forged Pistons(85mm)
* Cosworth Forged H Beam Connecting Rods
* New Mitsubishi Forged Crankshaft (88mm)
* Cosworth High performance Rod and Main Bearings
* Cosworth High Performance Main Bearing studs
* New Mitsubishi 4G63 Block.
Each assembly is carefully blueprinted and balanced and includes a build sheet listing all critical dimensions.

The Cosworth 4G63 2.2L stroker engine combines the perfect bore to stroke ratio, yielding potentially big gains in torque while still allowing the engine to rotate and produce power higher rpm's. This is the perfect foundation for your big power engine build. Combine with one of our CNC ported Big Valve Cylinder Heads and Camshaft sets for maximum reliable power.

Cosworth Evolution VIII 4G63 Replacement Ported Cylinder Head 3,849.00
real world power. Each new cylinder head is ported on a 5 axis machine to ensure consistency and perfect port shape every time. Additionally, larger intake (+1mm) and exhaust valves (+1mm) are utilized to help increase flow. Cosworth CNC ported Big Valve cylinder heads come complete with a performance valve job, hi rev (max 10,500rpm) valve springs with titanium retainers and are ready to install.
