EVO 9 engines, complete and "cheap"

Hi guys,

I have a few engines I am going to offer at a substantial discount.

The engines are brand new EVO9 engines with JE Pistons, Crower rods, no balance shafts, oil pan, front cover, rear main seal all installed and sealed up. I will sell the shortblocks like this, with all new parts for $4500, NO CORE required. This is cheaper than they will EVER be again. The core fee alone is $1800. Normal price would be $5300 PLUS a good rebuildable core or $7100 without a core.

So, $4500 for a completely assembled, brand new EVO9 shortblock with pan, rear main seal and complete front cover.

Shipping will be additional but usually only runs around $300 in the US.

Just call the shop or shoot me a PM. 440-839-1900.

What kind of power can his motor handle, conisdering proper setup? Is this your stage 3 engine?

Also, with the balance shaft removed................are there any issues with bad vibration?

It's the same engine we use in our drag car, it's gone 169.59, horsepower numbers vary by dyno. So let's just say it's the best engine we offer.

So, what kind of number does your drag car put down with this engine? I'm assuming this is your STG 3 engine setup?

On our dyno it puts down 815. On a Dynojet from comparing to EVO's that can't match our MPH, I guess it would put down over 1,000. The difference in dyno's is the reason I told you we hold the MPH record. It is a Stage 3.

Is this engine already assembled and ready for shipment or do you guys have to build it still?

Someone informed me that you guys actually used a 2.3 engine in your drag car?

Someone informed you incorrectly. We use a standard bore 2 liter actually. I can ship the engine within a week of the order.

Dave,

Does "shortblock" mean that the head is included?

got any specials on EVO 8 engines?

Can I use a 9 block with an 8 head?

Shortblock is the lower half only, no head.

No EVO8 specials right now.

I think the EVO9 engine could probably be used on the EVO8 but there is a port that would have to be "plugged" off. I have not had to try it yet, so I can't say for sure.
