Am I safe to assume this helps or eliminates with the oil starvation issue on a hard launch?

Bump for question. AMS seems to have vanished from this thread

Yes, this will help with oil starvation on launches but mostly on braking because of the trap door in the pan it will keep oil at the pickup. The extra 1.5 quarts of oil also help.

Yes, you can install this pan with the motor in the car. You just have to remove the downpipe and the starter. Also remember to use jack stands if you are installing this without a lift in your garage or driveway

Andrew -- did you see my questions? Curious about fitment with an APR splitter, and about availability. I'll definitely take one if I can have it before the holidays.

If I can get this set-up by mid-December I'll take one. My motor is being rebuilt right now, and that's around the time everything will be going back together. I'm already installing your oil cooler, mustache bar, and intercooler at that time, so why not an oil pan as well. ;-)
I would assume that it will work with APR splitter beacuse the bottom of the oil pan is right in line the the bottom of the front subframeso it should be fine.

It doesn't pass the bottom of the front subframe but you will have to watch out for potholes and drive not to run anything over!

Any updates here -- when do you think these will ship?

(planning to install this on my freshly built 2.2l, along with an AMS oil cooler)

Would this fit under a Beatrush metal undertray? Is it in stock now?
