6 Speed Owners-Castrol SynTorq 75W-85 FULL SYNTHETIC Now Available!!!

That's right. MIL.SPEC now has this great fluid available for 6 speed owners.

I've been running this fluid personally for over 2 years and 70,000 mils. I am still on the original 6 speed with 85,000+ miles on it. This fluid cured the 2nd gear notchiness in MY car. It may help with your car too.

This fluid was especially developed for the overheating problems in the Novi-4500 transmissions (LT stands for low temperature). That's the same kind of issues 6 speed owners deal with, which is why I like this fluid.

The Castrol SynTorq LT is a full synthetic 75W-85 GL-4 fluid. Before it was only available through GM or Dodge dealers for $$$$$$. Now it's available through MIL.SPEC! This is the OEM Viper fill.

Don't buy a whole container of SuperDiaqueen...we sell in special packages of 2.5 quarts for 6 speed owners! Don't feel left out 5 speed owners, we sell in 3 quart packages for you too.

6 SPEED SPECIAL: $43.99 (2.5 Quarts)
5 SPEED SPECIAL: $49.99 (3 Quarts)

Here is what Blackstone had to say about my tranny at around 70,000 miles...pay attention to the last sentence 6 speed owners:

how many quarts are needed for a oil change?

Erik@MIL.SPEC Jun 11, 2008 07:22 PM

The 6 speed takes 2.3 quarts. The 5 speed is close to 3 IIRC.

how does this compare to oem stuff anybody know?

Erik@MIL.SPEC Jun 21, 2008 07:07 PM

Define compare.

It's a full synthetic, which the OEM isn't AFAIK.

The OEM 6 speed fluid resulted in a notchy 2nd gear for me. This fluid fixed that on my car. I will put nothing but this fluid in my personal vehicle.

For me, the stuff works better.

Like I said earlier, nothing else goes in my 6 speed with close to 400whp and 86,800+ miles {thumbup}

Bump for good fluid and a great vendor! I switched to this stuff about 6 months ago and it is way smoother on track. Eliminated a second gear notch for me as well.

Erik I will be ordering this from you next time, I still have 3 quarts in the garage waiting to go in.

h22gordo Jun 24, 2008 11:04 AM

Erik,
How do we pay?
You want PayPal? Or pay you in person when picking up? I can also pickup at MFQ if need be, or in Woodland Hills.

Erik@MIL.SPEC Jun 24, 2008 11:31 AM

PM'd.

Gordon, you are more than welcome to pick up in Woodland Hills. Plus, you can brag to all your friends that you now run Viper fluid in your car :D
