I hope you all had a great weekend. We wanted to dedicate this week to our machine shop and showing everyone what we do and how we do it! You'll see tons of great pics, videos and posts about engines that we can build, are building and have built! what does the 2.4 water pump hit that causes you to have to runa 2.0 water pump with adaptor? What else is needed to put the 2.4 in the Evo other than that?

It's spacing to properly align the pulley with the belt.
You need a head gasket, adjustable cam gears and a 4g64 belt. |

Proly not the place to post this, but hopefully I can get the answer Im looking for. :) What keeps a person from using the 2.4 water pump? What degree's do you have to adjust the cams to? (or is it a setup that each has to be degree'ed, and there isnt a "base" setting?) Stock 2.4 head gasket works? |
