hueman - personally I prefer the electonic ones with the playback and peak hold. However, if what you are looking for is an quick down and dirty way to keep your eye on boost, the D series is a terrific choice and a great value. Plus it is the best match for the factory interior that I have seen to date

GReddy is all electronic, or the Defi Link V2 comes in 52mm as well

It took me about a week to get used to the bar readings, now its just second nature. Just remember that 1 bar = 14psi so 1.5 = 21psi (roughly).

Edit: Just ordered a replacement sensor for my oil gauge. Defi warranties the gauge and control box, but looks like sensors you are on your own with...oh well

Ordered some magcore wires too...going to see if they work well with my denso plugs.

Not to hijack the thread - but I have a Defi D boost gauge, and to be honest... the difference is HARD to tell! When you're boosting 20psi, you're too busy with other things to really worry about how fast it's reacting. The point is that it's PRECISE, not to be confused with being ACCURATE (i.e., it'll always hit the same boost, though that may or may not be the true reading). In terms of accuracy though, go with the electric. I'm actually planning on buying a red BF boost when they hit shores.

hueman - Defi BF are only in bar. The LINK series is offered in imperial, as is the D series.

dktop - which display unit are you after? the dash mounted one or the heads up?

What I do like about bar readings is that the sweeps seem to be more consistant. A US spec gauge in PSI always seems to be very "busy".
