HKS GT3037 TURBO KIT
Hey guys, we are offering the ultimate time-attack / track turbo kit for the EVO VIII/IX. This turbo kit was specifically engineered and designed by HKS for a track EVO. Tested at such world reknowned tracks in Japan such as Tsukuba and Suzuka, this turbo kit was developed with months of dedicated testing.

This turbo has powered the HKS EVO to an incredible 54.7 seconds at the Tsukuba circuit in Japan.




Unlike persistent rumours, this turbo kit and primarily the turbocharger is inherently different from the Garrett GT3076 turbochargers. The Garrett GT3076 turbocharger is a universal turbocharger designed by Garrett for multiple platforms. The HKS GT3037 turbo on the other hand features custom trimmed compressor and turbine wheels, an anti-surge compressor, and a premium grade .87 A/R turbine housing designed especially for 4-cyl turbo applications. The end result is a turbocharger that far exceeds the performance of any comparable Mitsubishi turbocharger. The lighter compressor/turbine wheels as well as the ball-bearing technology substantially improves boost response and boost onset, a characteristic that is essential for good on-track performance.

This kit has made 416whp on C16 race gas on our dyno, can propel an EVO to low 11's in the quarter mile, and maintain the strong torque / power-band for on-track use. It is an excellent "all around" turbo, allowing a stock motor EVO to be a monster at the drag strip, on the race track, and on the street.
