I encourage you to ask yourself which one looks easier to install?

Also ours being one piece that has been CAD designed to fit in the EVO. And as far as the price statement I also was able to find the Genesis battery they used for $64.73 online and was not able to find a manufacturer website. The Odyssey battery we provide with our kits is backed by a 2 year manufacturer warranty. If we were able to purchase the batteries this cheap we would pass it on to you.

If you have any further questions on the kit please do not hesitate.

JunB.L and JUN are 2 different companies. The JunB.L exhausts are fully hand-crafted and made in Korea. You will not find many finer exhaust systems available for the EVO or any car that JunB.L makes exhausts for.

Can you do the exhaust mani in a different color (black or gray)? Can you add the EGT bung but leave the mani cover plugs as well?

Swain only coats the manifold in white. But they say you can use any high heat (exhaust type paint) over their coating.

We will drill and tap a manifold for the egt for you for free! Something we do for our customers.

The heat shield boses (mani cover plugs?)can be left on if you choose the standard manifold.

What do the "anti-lag" bosses actually do? I'm very interested in a coated/ported mani. How does your porting compare to what BR offers?

Can you do a package price for manifold (coated and ported), Ebay O2 coated, and IX Hotside ported and coated?

The anti-lag bosses are cast into the stock manifold. The serve no purpose for USDM cars. If you take a look at an engine shot from a JDM EVO you will see there is a mechanism that forces air into the manifold from the upper IC pipe which is called anti-lag. This system creates less lag and will also make the stock turbo or any setup that uses an anti-lag less reliable for the long term. This being the reason more than likely that Mitsubishi did not put it on a factory US EVO. Warranty wise of course, and a way to cut costs for Mitsubishi.

Without turning this into a war on who can port the best, we would like to say our porting appears to be more detailed and is as deeply ported as possible. We take in account the gasket to match and this is a better approach than just smoothing things out. We believe that our parts are ported the best.

I will work out a combined price for you and send you a PM. Thanks for your questions.

The internal porting is the same. The difference is in the external machining. There is no performance difference.

Thank You,
Wayne
