The actual color of the product is silver. The blue is the protective covering. And they only come in silver!

It is a little less than 4 pounds.
You can bolt it in or rivet it in.
You can unbolt to remove, but a nice feature of this, you can install the rear seat and still keep the plate on!

Do you know if it helps with little noises like rocks hitting the inner fender? I removed my seat a while back and my sticky tires were making tons of racket in the truck and that sound just came right into the cabin.
