18" Super Advan Racing Ver. II Gunmetal! Custom fitment for Evo!

Hello everyone!

http://www.aspecproducts.com/forums/...cons/advan.gif

In stock, this week, we have 1 set of Super Advan Racing Ver. II's! One of only 2 sets from Mackin! Very rare and very exclusive.

Our set is a custom fitment consisting of a pair of 18X8.5 +30 and a pair of 18X9.5 +35. Both are gunmetal with a machined lip. On the 8.5, you can run anywhere from a 235 to a 245. On the 9.5, you can run either a 245 or 255. You can run any of these tires WITHOUT RUBBING OR ROLLING FENDERS!

I know what you are thinking...why run different width wheels/tires? Are we nuts? Read on my friends...

We ordered this fitment with a mindset for the track. By configuring the car with different width wheels/tires, you are able to fine tune the handling over and above that which you can do with suspension. Basically, you can tailor the tendency for understeer or oversteer depending on where you mount the wider tires. For a high speed track with long sweeping turns, putting the wider tires in the rear will give you more stable high speed cornering with a tendency towards understeer. For a tight track, putting the wider wheels in the front will give nice crisp turn-in with a tendency towards oversteer.

This technique is widely practiced in Japan with many of the top tuner time attack AWD vehicles!

And, when running on the street, you can mount 245's all around and have neutral handling!

This two piece wheel features a cast face with a forged rim resulting in a lightweight wheel with plenty of strength. Also, for you Evo owners looking for that elusive "lip," this wheel features a FAT 3" LIP!

Not just for the drift crowd anymore, you too can get that hardcore JDM look!

I love those wheels on Supras and Silvias, but I am curious do you have a shot of those on an Evo?

Finding those on an Evo would be very difficult to do. It's not a common wheel for an Evo. If one were to buy these and mount them, you would pretty much be the only one. I'll try my hand at photoshop later and see what happens.

Man, too bad it's a staggered set. I would have loved them in 18x8.5 all around.

They are about 17 lbs for the 8.5's and 18 lbs for the 9.5. Remember, they are 18's.

I'm hoping to get more in sometime in May. We're thinking about 18X9.5 all around.
