Teflon coating

I tried to search, but i can't find any information.
My dealer tried to sell me the teflon coating package. My car is white, I have seen some white cars turn kind of yellow after several years. Does the paint of the evos do that? Does this coating really help? any comments? Thanks for your help!

my wife had the teflon coating applied to her black Lexus Is300 . i can tell a difference when she washes it and the water just runs right off. it is really for the lazy people that dont wash and wax their cars. i personally didnt have it done to the evo and its 'mac black. i have a close friend that owns his own detail shop and has several "teflon" type treatments he can apply. basically they are all just paint "sealers" that fill in the little pores of the paint so that no dirt will stick. save your $500.00 or so dollars they wanted to charge and mod instead. use a good Meguiars wax or Blitz paste wax and you will be good for a few months.

I got the Simoniz System 5 teflon treatment from my dealer. My salesman hooked me up with the package (which he says you can't buy anywhere). I'll write a review as soon as I have a full day to do the work.
