Well my evo 03 barely has 6000 miles and I was driving home in the snow and the front tires threw up so much sand it seemed to chip tons of chips into my rear passenger door crack. Right where the door meets the rear fender. Near the bottom theres abour 6 or 7 little chips. Well I cleaned it as soon as possible to get all the nasty sand off. Well today I got to work and I noticed it is starting to rust now. Is there anything that I can do to fix this? I was thinking of buying some touch up paint, but I guess I'm going to have to get off the little bit of rust that is there. Anyone know how about I should do this? and any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening again? I'm looking into some mud flaps for the winter months. Thanks for all your help in advance

GREAT! thanks just ordered some. Should I try cleaning off some of the rust before applying these? I was thinking clean up the little amount of rust then put some touch up paint then throw these suckers on.

 

yes do that clean it up and throw on the touch up if u just voer them they are gonna stay and look that way forever basically just coverd ewwww
